Answers about the product and the practice.
If your question is not here, ask us directly and we will answer it.
The product.
Is Biz Wizard available now?
Yes. It is live at usebizwizard.com and you can create an account and start recording today.
How is it different from your consulting services?
The services are people doing the work with you, scoped per engagement. Biz Wizard is software you use yourself. Much of what we used to build by hand for clients is now in the product.
What do I need to get started?
Your products or services and their prices. You can add expenses, transactions and a plan as you go. You do not need a finished spreadsheet.
Can I get my information out again?
Yes. Export your statements, cashflow and business plan as PDF, Excel, CSV or Word, choosing the sections you want.
Can I run more than one business?
Yes. One account can hold several businesses, each kept separate, and you can invite other people into a business you manage.
Which currency does it use?
The currency you set for the business. Every screen, model and export follows that setting.
Who can see my business information?
Only you and the people you invite into that business. Access is checked per business on every request. See the Trust Centre for the detail.
The practice.
Who are your typical clients?
Start-ups both pre-revenue and post-revenue, small and medium-sized enterprises, and mission-driven organisations such as NGOs and social enterprises across Sub-Saharan Africa.
What countries do you serve?
How long does business plan development take?
What does the consultation process look like?
Discovery, design, delivery and deployment. We diagnose the real problem, co-create and validate the approach, deliver the artefacts, then support you putting them to work.
How much of my time is required?
Can you help with implementation after planning?
Yes. Deployment is the fourth stage of every engagement, with tools and coaching rather than a document handover.
Three answers above are marked as needed. They were questions on the current site with no answer written, and we would rather leave the gap visible than invent one.
